All-Metal Interior Decoration and Design

Hello Steelsters of decoration 👋

We've already reached our tenth article "What you've created with John Steel", this time with the theme of decoration and interior design! That's worth celebrating, right? With a community of Steelsters growing day by day, new application ideas for our metals and woods are submitted to us, which we would never have thought of before… Here are three decoration projects that we are proud to present to you (which might perhaps inspire you, who knows? 😀).

Project #1: Protection for a perforated aluminum stove pipe

We often receive orders from music lovers (it's not for nothing that we share our name with John Steel, drummer of the legendary band The Animals, for those who know).

After doing some renovation work, our Steelster needed to cover a wall (see photo ⤵️). As you can understand, who among you would like to see a pipe like that in their living room?

So he had the idea to order a perforated aluminum plate to cover the hole, and the result is truly great! Caught in a DIY fever and especially to add his own personal touch, our Steelster decided to install a music-note LED pipe that changes color. If that isn't high-level decoration, pinch me 👌

"Thank you John Steel, we are very satisfied customers! We designed musical notes… yes yes yes look closely! Time for music!"

Decoration steps

As a cherry on top, these photos were accompanied by a message that always makes the whole SteelTeam happy:

Project #2: Raw steel plate for an industrial-style sideboard

Let's stay on the decoration side if you don't mind! For this creation, our Steelster had a very specific idea in mind. The artistic aspect of this painting and these figurines had to be highlighted. That's where we come in 🤘. By choosing to personalize his sideboard with a raw steel plate cut to size, the living room decor immediately changed style.

To add a glossy effect to his brand new steel plate, our Steelster bought and applied a special varnish. The result is exactly what he was looking for – a vintage and industrial effect at the same time! 🤩

Project #3: Brushed stainless steel door threshold

To finish our article, I have one last decoration project (a bit less artistic than the others, but just as functional) that I want to share with you:

Brushed stainless steel door threshold

To allow our DIY Steelster to create a clean finish between his hallway and bathroom, he used our laser metal cutting services to create exactly the stainless steel door threshold he needed 👨‍🔧. His material of choice? Brushed stainless steel, with its modern style and hygienic properties, it's the ideal metal. Now there's something to be happy about when you go to brush your teeth!

That's all for this time 😄! Don't forget to stay inspired and above all a big thank you to our Steelsters for sharing photos.

See you soon Steelsters!

Brigitte

Pascale , pleine d'hum(o)ur

Replied by: John Steel On 2015-06-25 Hello Pascale,

Je suis heureuse de vous voir satisfait.
On fait comme on peut pour la publication des photos, dès qu'on a le temps, ce qui est rare avec toutes les commandes qui entrent.
Un jour, peut-être qu'on sera en Haute-Savoie !

Cordialement,

Brigitte
